About Rarité

Nicklas Ingemann

Rarité is a small, independent wine import company in Copenhagen, founded and run by Nicklas Ingemann. Nicklas has spent years sourcing rare wines for collectors and some of the best restaurants in the Nordics. That network has become an import house with direct relationships to some of the most interesting producers of our time.

The portfolio is deliberately small and enormously focused. Rarité works with producers who are either already reference points, or who have the vineyard material, talent and direction to become one. Nicklas visits the producers several times a year and follows the wines through ongoing tastings and close dialogue. That is how the relationships, the understanding and the Danish presentation are built properly.

Nicklas also has a background as an advertising photographer and is partner and co-founder of the creative agency Stated Agency. That experience shapes the visual sense and care surrounding Rarité.

Nicklas works closely with private collectors and restaurants across the Nordics, including several of Denmark’s leading Michelin restaurants. Sales happen through the price list, direct dialogue and smaller releases.
