By purchasing from Rarité, you accept the following terms and conditions.
2. Age Restriction
- To purchase from Rarité, you must be at least 18 years old and confirm this upon purchase.
3. Prices & Payment
- All prices are stated in Danish Kroner (DKK) excluding VAT unless otherwise specified.
- VAT (25%) will be added at checkout unless otherwise stated in the order confirmation.
- Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched. An order is only considered confirmed once payment has been received.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon payment methods.
- Rarité reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, but not after an order has been confirmed.
4. Ordering & Delivery
- Orders can be placed via our webshop or by e-mail.
- Delivery is typically within 8 days but may vary depending on product availability.• We use external carriers, and the risk of the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.
- Any transport damages must be reported to the carrier and Rarité within 24 hours of receipt.
- For pre-ordered or rare wines, delivery times may vary significantly. The customer will be informed accordingly.
- Delivery costs will be stated in the order confirmation and may vary depending on the delivery method.
5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns
- According to Danish law, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing remotely.
- However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to beverages that may deteriorate or to products that are custom-ordered.
- Wine and other beverages cannot be returned if they have been opened or damaged after receipt.
- If you wish to return an unopened item, this must be done within 14 days of receipt, and the wine must be in the same condition as when received. Thecustomer covers the shipping costs.
- Complaints regarding defective goods must be made immediately after receipt and no later than 7 days from delivery.
- Cork defects or quality issues caused by the producer are not covered by Rarité.
6. Complaints & Product Liability
- Under Danish consumer law, consumers have a 24-month right to complain about goods. However, for beverages, this right only applies if a documented defect was present at the time of delivery.
- Complaints must be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the product, with written notice and documentation (photos, etc.) sent to sales@rarité.wine
- Complaints do not cover defects or issues caused by improper storage, natural wine evolution, or cork faults.
- If the complaint is justified, we will either replace the item or refund the purchase price.
- Business customers have a limited right to complaint under a separate agreement.7. Data Protection Policy
- All personal data is handled confidentially and in accordance with GDPR.
- Rarité does not disclose personal data to third parties unless necessary for order processing.
8. Liability & Force Majeure
- Rarité is not liable for indirect losses, business interruptions, or loss of expected profit.
- Rarité cannot be held responsible for the wine's development after sale.
- In cases of force majeure (war, pandemics, strikes, natural disasters, transportation issues, etc.), we reserve the right to delay or cancel orders without liability.
9. Retention of Ownership
- All goods remain the property of Rarité until full payment has been received and the goods have been delivered.
- The risk transfers to the customer upon delivery, but ownership remains with Rarité until payment is completed.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
- All purchases are subject to Danish law.
- Any disputes shall be settled in Danish courts at Rarité’s legal venue.
- Rarité reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
