Hubert Lamy Santenay Clos Hates 2016
Hubert Lamy’s 2016 Santenay Clos Hates captures the warm generosity of a sun-drenched vintage while retaining its village-flint tension and energy. Planted in 2000 on a gentle clay-limestone slope above the village of Santenay and flanked by premier cru Passetemps, the wine brings forward pure redcurrant and wild strawberry notes framed by fine-grained tannins and a whisper of saline mineral drive.
