Jean-Marie Fourrier Bourgogne Rouge 2020
Jean-Marie Fourrier Bourgogne Rouge 2020
In the concentrated 2020 vintage, Fourrier’s Bourgogne Rouge delivers impressive depth without sacrificing his hallmark finesse. Drawn from old vines bordering Gevrey-Chambertin, it layers red cherry, rose petal and crushed rock in a supple, vividly transparent frame. Fermented and aged with the same care as his village wines, this is serious Pinot dressed in humble robes.

The Domaine
Jean-Marie Fourrier, who trained under Henri Jayer and Domaine Drouhin Oregon, blends tradition with fastidious detail at his Gevrey-based domaine. Farming old vines with minimal intervention and crafting each cuvée with gravity flow, native fermentations and no new oak, he delivers Pinot Noir of haunting purity. Even his Bourgogne Rouge is treated as a serious terroir wine—and it shows.
