Krug Vintage 2006
Krug’s 2006 is a study in radiant generosity tempered by exacting house style. Nicknamed Capricious Indulgence by the maison, this warm-vintage release blends 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier from 12 villages. The result is opulent yet sculpted—baked citrus, hazelnut and ginger folded into Krug’s signature structure. A vintage of sensual charm, lifted by long lees aging and zero compromise.

The Domaine
Founded in 1843, Krug remains the ultimate expression of Champagne craftsmanship. Each wine is built from individual plots vinified in old oak, a rarity even among top houses. Now under the stewardship of Olivier Krug, the domaine continues to blend uncompromising méthode with an intuitive, musical sensibility—crafting wines as much composed as they are fermented.
